Ever
wonder why volunteer driven, community organizations can pop up to deal with an
issue, be more successful and get more done than large non-profits or government
programs?
It is a phenomenon that I have observed often in my life. A small group of people identify a problem, they come together to find an answer and then they set about implementing the solution. How is it that a group of volunteers with little money or support can sometimes move mountains?
The answer is: passion.
When
passion flows, things get done. When passion is engaged, people become focused
on mission rather than personalities. When passion is involved, a group becomes
much more concerned about action than credit.
Try it for 21 days, become
passionate and enthusiastic about your ideas and watch what happens. You can become a leader in your work by sharing your enthusiasm and commitment to your company's mission. Your can improve your marriage, your health, your life when you become excited about living every day to the fullest.
If you want to get things done, keep in mind: passion creates action.
